While I think Ken Burns tends to dwell on the negative side
of things, no one can ever accuse the guy of not being thorough. The man
is probably the best history documentary filmmaker to grace the earth and
covers a wide range of topics. Although I am not interested in a few of
the people covered, I still found their respective
documentaries/biographies interesting as hell. Of course, the ones I am
interested in blew me away; Lewis & Clark and Thomas Jefferson. A
monster, but awesome set! – Denis Sheehan
