Back And Back And Back To The Future/ Thank God It's Friday, Again (ADV
Films) DVD. Two hour long episodes. NR. Since Farscape is aired on The
Sci-Fi channel, I’m not going to give the show a full review. Farscape
is a Star Trek like show about an American astronaut who gets sucked into
another dimension and does battle with various humanoids, aliens, and
other creatures.
The
main reason for this review is to pass along just how perfect this DVD is.
It’s like this show was produced solely to utilize the best things about
DVDs. The picture is absolutely stunning. The colors are vibrant and
crisp, and the sound is down right phenomenal. I was, and still am, amazed
at how this DVD looked on my tv! I have watched a lot of DVDs and this one
ranks number one as far as picture and sound. And hey, the show itself is
cool as hell! If you like Star Trek or Babylon 5, you’ll dig this cool
sci-fi romp. Along with the stunning picture and sound, the DVD includes;
previously unbroadcast footage, trailers, image gallery, and very amusing
and informative commentary with star Ben Browder, director Rowan Woods,
producer Rockne S. O’Bannon, and actor Anthony Simcoe. This DVD is so
pristine it should be used as a showcase to sell DVD players.
